Live Monitoring
Live View is the real-time video wall. It streams every visible camera at once and keeps tiles uniform regardless of each camera’s aspect ratio.
Grid layouts
Section titled “Grid layouts”Pick a 1, 2, or 3 layout (up to 9 tiles per page); extra cameras paginate. Filter the wall by group, search by name, or open the Cameras drawer to pick an explicit subset to show.
Streaming
Section titled “Streaming”Each tile negotiates WebRTC (WHEP) first for low-latency playback and automatically falls back to HLS if WebRTC cannot connect. A per-tile button lets you switch the transport manually. Video is letter/pillar-boxed to its real aspect ratio — never stretched.
Tile info
Section titled “Tile info”Each tile shows a status dot, the camera name, the active transport (WebRTC/HLS), live resolution, FPS, bitrate, a REC badge when recording, and the Alta server. Offline cameras show an OFFLINE overlay; a stalled stream can be retried in place.
Camera overlay
Section titled “Camera overlay”Click a tile to open the full camera overlay for a larger view and quick access to that camera’s archive and actions.
