Archive Playback

For any recorded camera you can replay the past on a DVR-style timeline.

Open the archive

From a camera (in the list, detail page, or live overlay) switch to Archive. The player loads recorded segments for that camera over HLS.

Navigate

• Scrub the timeline to jump to any moment.
• Jump to events — motion and detection markers appear on the timeline so you can go straight to activity.
• Seek backwards and forwards while playback continues.

Export from the archive

Select a time range on the timeline and export it as a clip. The request goes to the clip worker and appears under Investigate → Clips when ready.

Archive availability depends on the camera being recorded and the footage still being retained — see Storages & Retention.
